Toby's first Fun Match!

Toby sneezing in the park

I took Toby and Tyler to an agility fun match yesterday and we all had a blast. Toby ran like the wind and Tyler was a good boy; he hardly barked at all and had a few Q's! Go dogs Go!

Toby has only been doing agility once a week for a few months now, but he can sure run.

On Strike

My union is on strike and I am unimpressed. I do not like picketing, but Toby does. He comes with me, and as he likes to be the center of attention, enjoys being petted and talked to by my fellow union brothers and sisters. Hopefully this strike will be over shortly.

Boxy Paws intro

Testing my first blog posting!
This blog is about me and my three dogs: Tyler, Cody and Toby.
My boyfriend at the time, now my husband, and I adopted Tyler from our local animal control four years ago. He is a black field lab and came to us with horrible seperation anxiety. After two years of hard work, he can now stay home alone with our other dogs for up to six hours! If we are gone longer than that, our fabulous dog walker comes to take him for a hike. Tyler doesn't like strangers, but is slowly getting better at meeting new people.
We adopted Toby, our chihuahua cross, one year ago. Toby was kicked in the face as a puppy and as a result, is missing part of his nose. We think it gives him character and he still loves everyone he meets.
Cody is our twelve year old GSD; my husband got her as a puppy and bottle fed her for three weeks. She is his dog and ski patrolled with him for many years. Cody loves her two little brothers and really likes wrestling with Tyler.
I really enjoy competing with Tyler in agility and Rally-O. Last summer we got our Novice Rally Obedience title at one trial! He is a great obedience dog and while he is good at agility, he does get nervous if there are too many people there.
Toby just started his agility career - he is good at it, but won't ever be as fast as his brother.
